John McNally has a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor of Science in Physics, both from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has taught in the public and private education sectors, and is passionate about making modern physics and mathematics concepts accessible to students. ​​ John's current intellectual interests are varied and include application of Deep Learning systems and methodology to education, thinking about the mathematical foundations of physics, exploring agent-based computational economics, and development of new educational frameworks using "gamification" and engagment through computer systems. John is currently taking steps into the field Data Science as a means to try to unify these varied interests.
