Oscar is Research Director (Ret.), OIS Market Research Group (OISMRG), Rīga, Latvia, a private hedge fund specializing in generating income using equity, index, and index futures options and contracts. Oscar developed a \emph{Futures Minimal-Model} to inform OISMRG's futures trading, and he developed a stochastic differential equation ARIMA-variant forecaster to assist decision making for selecting option strike prices using probability distributions. Oscar has published over 80 peer-reviewed scientific research papers in prestigious scientific journals( https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=SubDtv0AAAAJ&hl=en&oi=ao ), several book chapters, and is co-author of the first editions of Investigating Biological Systems using Modeling (Academic Press, 1999), Plain English for Doctors and Other Medical Scientists (Oxford University Press, 2017), and Medicus Incomprehensibilis (Oxford University Press, 2019). Oscar is a mathematician, author, and physician scientist (Ret.). He received the Great Seal of the United States Award (1993) presented by Congressman John Dingell (D-Michigan) [July 8, 1926 -- February 7, 2019] for his advancements in mathematical-medicine research. Oscar now lives in Rīga, Latvija. He has been living in Rīga since 2 December 2022.
