I obtained my Bachelor's degree in a joint honours, Nanotechnology Engineering and Music from the University of Waterloo, followed by deciding to pursue a PhD in Electrical Engineering (Quantum Information) from the University of Waterloo.

Specializing in Optimal Control Theory techniques for Nitrogen Vacancy centers in diamond, my interests also extend to optics, photonics, fabrication and systems.

My current role is a postdoctoral fellow at SandboxAQ in Palo Alto, California working on medical diagnostic devices with quantum sensors.

I love any project with multiple facets requiring me to use a mix of technical problem solving, continuous learning of fundamental theories and creativity.
