User Portlet

Have been a developer since the early 80's. Started on a TRS-80. Favorite language in the early days: Modula. Did my share of Pascal, C, C++, C#, Rexx, and some Assembly for memory-resident programs before the advent of multitasking OS's like Windows. Later I did things on the Web, lot's of JS, Adobe Flex, etc. Designed my own database, B-TREEs with text compression for storing variable length text keys, and some final state machines for fixed but highly compressed storage of large text data, such as dictionaries. I am retired now, but still enjoy playing around. Wolfram seems just perfect for that. ;-)
