ABOUT ME:

I am a research assistant and Ph. D. candidate in applied physics at Southern Illinois University, in Carbondale IL. I study magnetotransport in the novel materials and heterostructures laboratory. I am on track to graduate in May. For a few years now, as something of a hobby project, I have been interested in identifying and categorizing self stable arrangements of woven helices. I can physically model about 25 different 2D, triply periodic, and polyhedral "helical weaves". I am aware of another 10 or so triply periodic helical weaves only through mathematical simulation. I am interested in collaboration.
