ABOUT ME:

Cristel Chandre, PhD, is a Research Professor (Directeur de Recherche) at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) in Marseille, France. He graduated from the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Lyon, France in 1997, and obtained a PhD in physics from the University of Burgundy, Dijon, France in 1999. His current research field is theoretical nonlinear dynamics, including Hamiltonian systems, with applications to atomic, molecular and plasma physics.

Since 2007, he is an expert-evaluator for the European Commission, working for the European Research Executive Agency (in particular for Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions).

Since 2017, he also acts as Editor-in-Chief of Communications in Nonlinear Science and Numerical Simulation (Elsevier).
