I am currently a PhD candidate in Theoretical Physics at the University of Sevilla. My thesis is based on the use of the mathematical tools from optimal control theory to study optimisation problems in physical systems described in terms of non-equilibrium statistical mechanics (stochastic dynamics, kinetic theory...).
