Antonio Barletta was born in Siena (Tuscany, Italy). He obtained his Degree (Laurea) in Physics, cum laude, at the School of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences at the University of Bologna. To date, he is Full Professor of Industrial Technical Physics at Alma Mater Studiorum Università di Bologna. Among the research topics developed in his academic life, one may mention forced, free and mixed convection investigated with the main purpose of enhancing, from a physical/mathematical viewpoint, methods and models commonly used in the industrial design.
