User Portlet

I am a chemical engineer by training but early on switched to the field of computational chemistry/biology. I have been working in the computational drug discovery field for 35 years, with a specific focus on protein motion and conformational free energy simulations. My passions center around the development of methods that provide intuition and insights related to motion in molecular systems and the relationship to biological function. I watched my son using Mathematica in his fractal research and got really interested in the Wolfram language after realizing how much more I can do with it beyond math.
