ABOUT ME:
I am a senior faculty researcher at Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Waterloo, Canada. I obtained my PhD working at the Max-Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics, and did postdocs at Perimeter Institute and the University of Utrecht. Before joining Perimeter Institute on a permanent position I was a Max-Planck Group Leader, again at the Max-Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics.
My main interests are quantum gravity and mathematical physics. The key bottle neck for non-perturbative approaches to quantum gravity is our ability to do computations. I therefore aim to push computational boundaries and to develop new techniques and tools for extracting physics from quantum gravity models.
