User Portlet

I'm from the U.S. but I completed my undergraduate degree at Queen's University Belfast in chemical engineering in Northern Ireland. I did a year of industry work as part of my degree, and I worked at Johnson Matthey, where I used electrochemistry software to research and predict the performance of proton-exchange-membrane fuel cells for heavy vehicles. I have a long-standing interest in vehicles and rail transportation networks starting from my grandfather's collection of model trains and fully functional miniature railroads. I could sit there for hours just watching the trains go around his set.

Outside of my academic and industrial background I really like reading horror and fantasy, cooking, and listening to Daft Punk and Justice, as well as more niche hobbies like creating custom mods for Wii games. Thanks for checking out my profile!
