ABOUT ME:
I studied chemistry in the late 1970s and have a PhD in Theoretical Chemistry - Molecular Collision Theory. I have always been interested in Theoretical Physics and having retired recently from a career in Engineering,I am trying to teach myself sufficient mathematics and quantum field theory/relativity to properly appreciate the discoveries being made with experiments such as the LHC.
