User Portlet

My interest is in Neuroscience. How does the brain represent and navigate in the spatial environment? How does the intrinisic noisiness/variability in neurons affect brain function? I construct dynamical models of neurons and networks of neurons and analyze how their behavior changes as a function of ionic conductances. I use theory of dynamical systems, bifurcation theory, and stochastic processes.
