User Portlet

I am a scientist developing projects in the field of instrumentation in astrophysics. I have some experience with projects and laboratory assemblies in optical. Unfortunately I do not have much experience in computing. I have chosen Mathematica to learn and fix this deficiency so I can work with signal processing and data reduction of images.
