User Portlet

First worked with computers in 1967 (valves!), then worked my way through various mainframes picking up languages on the way. Formed own software company in 1980 writing for DEC and PCs. Joined University of Chester in 1984, became Head of Computer Science and in 2011, Associate Dean of Faculty of Science and Engineering. Keen programmer in many languages but less chance to practise these days.
