Use ThermodynamicData function?

Posted 7 years ago

Does the student edition of Mathematica include the ThermodynamicData function? I'm not getting any response to it.

I'm on version 8. Searching within Mathematica for the function ThermodynamicData fails (see screen grab), but if I click "Try your search on all Wolfram sites" I find it. It looks as if this stuff was added post-version 8. If this is so, can I get an update? rj

What version of Mathematica are you using?

Can you evaluate the documentation example inside the documentation? Please try opening the documentation inside Mathematica and searching for the function. Can you evaluate the examples that are there by clicking them and pressing Shift + Enter?

Here's a screen grab of a documentation example. The function name highlights in blue on entry, changing to black in the reply. rj

Yes. It should work.

Please try the documentation examples first. Do those work?

If not, do they give error messages? Does the text for "ThermodynamicData" highlight in either dark blue or red instead of Black?
