Wolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and the Wolfram Language, is seeking an Applications Programmer to integrate disparate data sources from its data collection into coherent reports. The applications created will be unique, with the purpose of increasing the use cases of the Wolfram Language and other Wolfram technologies. As an Applications Programmer, you will interact with WolframÂ’s CEO, IT, Kernel group, and Wolfram Cloud team as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Develop applications using data feeds from a myriad of sources
- Automate data-reporting processes
- Interact with the CEO and staff on design requirements and project goals
- Work with disparate data sources to create cutting-edge applications
- Progress on a multitude of projects in an efficient and timely manner
Requirements:
- Wolfram Language experience
- Familiar with UNIX/Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows
- Familiar with HTML and CSS
- Experience with automating tasks using shell scripting, Perl, or Python
- Ability to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly
- Good oral and written communication skills are a must
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
