PDF to Usable Notebook Code?

Posted 12 years ago
Greetings,

This is most likely impossible, but let me ask anyway: if I have a PDF file with mathematical content, then is there any (reasonable) way to convert that data into usable notebook code? The information in the PDF is mainly large matrices and vectors that I should like to avoid retyping

Regards,

Thank you!

If you have LaTeX source files, it could be much easier with TeXForm. If you have just the PDF of the article you can always check if it is in arxiv.org - they often have TeX source files. Or you can contact authors.
