Wolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and the Wolfram Language, is seeking a Geometry Theorem Curation Intern to join its Wolfram|Alpha Scientific Content department. This will be a full-time internship with up to 40 hours per week.
This intern will curate theorems in Euclidean geometry from Euclids Elements and other sources, represent them symbolically in the Wolfram Language and add those representations to the Wolfram Knowledgebase. The ideal candidate will have a passion for geometry and have past experience working with data collection. This position is suitable for graduate students in mathematics or related fields.
Qualifications
Sound knowledge of mathematics, especially Euclidean geometry Experience with the Wolfram Language Experience with HTML Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks and take initiative Ability to work in in a team environment Location: Champaign, Illinois
