Set $UnityExecutable using UnityLink?

Dear All, I wanted to try out the new UnityLink (Mathematica 12) on my Mac Laptop. Everything seems to work, but the Default Unity Version that is opened is too old. I use multiple Unity Versions with UnityHub. The default path to the Unity installation is stored in

$UnityExecutable

(but it is the wrong path). Has anybody managed to set a system variable like $UnityExecutable? Can this be done in init.m?

If yes, how? Kind regards, Peter

After loading UnityLink, set $UnityExecutable to the path of the Unity editor of your choice.

<< UnityLink`
$UnityExecutable = "/Applications/Unity/Hub/Editor/2018.3.6f1/Unity.app/Contents/MacOS/Unity"
