Conoscopic Interference Patterns

Posted 11 years ago
I'm trying to use Mathematica to create Interference Patterns. I'm trying to recreate the images of FIG 4  and FIG 5 in this paper:

"Collinear phase matching for second harmonic generation using conoscopic interferometry" by A. De and A. Puri

Does anyone know how to use Mathematica to make interference patterns or recreate the figures in the paper?

There are a lot of examples among Demonstrations. The Mathematica source code is freely available for download there. Some quite sophisticated:

Interference Patterns from Sources on a Circle by Enrique Zeleny
