Posted 5 years ago

Hi there,

why are Plots in Mathematica 12 bigger than in Mathematica 11? Same Image Size and so on.

Hope you can help me.

René,

I'd recommend sending a minimized example of your notebook to support@wolfram.com for them to look over for regressions.

Somehow my notebook works well with Mathematica 11 or the cdf player 11.3. But with the new Wolfram Player or Mathematica 12 the first graph does not show up. (unknow box name, ToBoxes, something about Boxform).

Help is highly appreciated. I would like to show this to students, so they can do assignments with it. cdf also attached.

Can you post a screenshot of what you're seeing, as well as some more information such as example code and what operating system you're working on?

For me, Mathematica 11.3 and 12.0 are identical on macOS:

I use normal WIN 10. The export is the problem. Both plots has different sizes, if I copy those in LaTex by the same scale factor. I don't unterstand the problem. I'm using two different resolutions of monitors. Maybe this is a factor? Whatever it is, it is annoying.
