Font size issue

Hi,

The default Mathematica fonts are too small for my screen. The only way to change font size seems to be to select the entire text using command+A and then go to format->size and select the required font. I have to do this every time I restart Mathematica and it is even worse in the documentation center. Every time I search for a new command, it reverts back to the original font size. Is there a way out of this? 
Using Format > Size is one way to do it:

But you may just want to increase the magnification of the notebooks. This should hopefully be more convenient to use. If you want to make any of this permanent, please see this article:
