Wolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and the Wolfram Language, is looking for a Software Developer Intern to work in our Algorithms R&D department. This candidate with work with our Numerical Computation team to help extend the finite element method capabilities of NDSolve. This candidate will explore, develop, test and document extensions for the finite element mesh generation, and its interaction with CAD systems and the simplification of geometry and mesh creation.
Requirements
- Understanding of the finite element method and a general understanding of computer aided engineering
- Programming skills in Wolfram Language
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Fluent in English
Preferred technology experience
- Programming skills in C/C++
- Knowledge of Git/CVS
