Setting axes in 3D plots in Alpha

Posted 3 years ago

I use the free version of WolframAlpha. When doing 3D plots of functions z(x,y) of two variables it is easy to set the limits on the x and y axes (they are set automatically by the range of the values of x,y you calculate). I would like to sometimes use a different range for the z axis but cannot find a way to do it. Is it possible?

Yes. Use the option PlotRange->{} . You can check possible things in the documentation; for Plot3D: https://reference.wolfram.com/language/ref/Plot3D.html
