I am curious whether Wolfram has plans to add syntax coloring for external languages such as Python in the ExternalEvaluate function. Especially in the ExternalEvaluate cell invoked by typing ">" in the notebook. I feel this will greatly enhance the notebook's extension capability and become a more versatile IDE. Maybe this can comes in a plug-in or paclet form?
If Wolfram as a company is not interested, does anyone has any insight on whether it will be possible to "hack" a syntax coloring for the ExternalEvaluate?
