Integral is not evaluated?

Posted 3 years ago

Hello all,

I am trying to solve the integral in the attached worksheet using the function "Integrate." I was wondering if anyone knows how I might be able to make the function integrable? I need to acquire a closed-form solution so "NIntegrate" is unfortunately not an option.

Any assumptions you can include to narrow down the range of possible solutions?

By assumptions do you just mean the bounds for each parameter and the domain of the variable t?

Thank you for your response,

Alex

Yes, that is what I mean. May not be appropriate, of course!

Do you by any chance know why Integral is not attempting to solve the function when I add assumptions to the code (see attached)?

No sorry, beyond my skills. Do you have reason to expect that there is a symbolic solution?
