This probably is really stupid, but I am getting an odd result from Solve[6 Cos[2 x] == 0, x].
Solve[6 Cos[2 x] == 0, x]
I.e. it should be pi*n/2 not pi*n. Yes?
You get both cases by using the two different values for when the integer factor is zero.
