I set "ShowGroupOpener" to "True" in the Options Inspector in "Global Preferences", but when creating a new notebook, this setting is not applied to it. For it to show effect, I have to manually set "ShowGroupOpener" to "True" for my new notebook again.
Did I miss something? What are the Global Preferences supposed to affect, if not the default settings for new notebooks? Is there a way to set up preferences to be applied to newly created notebooks?
