How to get WAlpha clear

Posted 10 years ago
Sorry for these very basic questions.

1)I am Spahish and I do not know how to say in English to "clear" or to "isolate" a variable from an equation. Possibly either "isoltate" or "clear" will be valid as I have been googling it, but I am not really sure yet.

2) How to get Wolfram Aplha clear "n" from the equation Cn=Co ((1+i)^n), so I get n= new equation, possibly with steps.

I want to know how to ask this kind of question with any given equation so it can help me refresh this very basic algebra subject.

Regards,

Alex
