Comparing text files for differences

Hello everyone.

I found in the documentation there's a function called FileSystemCompare, which compares two folders and returns the differences. What I'm looking for is something similar, but for text files instead of folders (something like WinMerge, if you can try to use or know it).

A Linux example would be the Meld package (https://meldmerge.org/)

I find the ExpressionLineDiff resource function to be very useful:

Unfortunately, I'm not in such a situation, because I'm just looking around. I'm sorry for being annoying, I'll stop posting these questions now.

Are you hoping to find Mathematica resources that are equivalent to WinMerge or Meld? You might start searching in the function repository

or in the built-in text/string functions

If you have a specific challenge/objective and you want help implementing a solution with Mathematica, then just post details of your situation and we can help.

Otherwise, it feels a bit vague to say you're looking for something similar to something else.
