Why Mathematica 13.0 (Windows) fail to generate an FMU?

Dear Collegues,

One of my students has just bought an student edition of Mathematica. We frequently generate FMUs for their use in other system analysis tools such as Matlab. In Mac iOS we do it with no troubles but fail to get it in windows. The documentation shows this example. enter image description here

What are we missing?

We will appreciate any help.

Regards,

Jesus

Hi Jesus,

Since this is a support related query, can you please create a ticket here: https://www.wolfram.com/support/contact

Our technical support will have a look at it.

In the meantime, you can give the following reference article another try: https://reference.wolfram.com/language/tutorial/CompilerForSystemModeling.html

Dear Dan and Ankit,

We have installed Windows 11 and Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 (including the free Visual C++ Build Tools edition). The installation ended well but the problem persists. We do not have an idea of what to do next. The only think we can add is that we do not have the standalone version of SystemModeler in that machine. Could this be a problem? We do have the trial version which is ended very soon.

Thanks.

Jesus

Since the HelloWorld model didn't build, there is a good chance that the compiler setup is broken. Please check if the compiler is installed correctly by referring to these guides: https://reference.wolfram.com/language/tutorial/CompilerForSystemModeling.html

I just tried running the example on Windows 11 with Mathematica 13 and it worked on my machine. I don't normally use the SystemModeler functionality, but I noticed that it installed several Paclets when it ran. Maybe a PacletUpdate or Install could help?
