Performing operations on Google Drive files?

I see the new ServiceConnect, which connects to Google Calendar and Contacts (Great!)

I need to manipulate a large set of files in the google drive (copy, rename etc..) but the Auth is getting in the way.

Has anyone done this before?

Is the code used by the online version doing this already?

Also, I tried to use the dropbox interface to learn the syntax. It appears to be missing BASIC files capabilities like COPY and RENAME, MOVE...

Any insight on how to add those functionalities?
