Hi folks,
I have a .nb notebook from Mathematica v4.2 that I want to read the code from. I've messed about at length to try to get it to render in Wolfram Player, and I just can't get it to work. I don't care about the outputs: I just want to see the code.
I also thought it shouldn't be too hard to just read the code out from the text file, but there are sections that look like the excerpt pasted below, and it's just a huge hassle to try to understand it.
Does anyone happen to have access to a very old version of Mathematica that they could use to simply open and convert this notebook to a PDF? Otherwise, might anyone have any suggestions for how I might attempt to get it to display in a new version? Or even knowing that it's a lost cause would be helpful if the syntax has changed excessively since then!
