Mathematica Engineer full-time - Palo Alto, CA (relocation within the US)

I am a talent recruiter looking for a Mathematica Engineer for an interesting medical device company in Palo Alto CA (work is on-site). You will be designing various pieces of hardware to make. 3+ years of Mathematica use (which could be at a University). Background in Physics and the like is helpful. I am told the team is brilliant. They can relocate the right person within the US.

Job Description

As a part of a small team of other brilliant engineers you will develop multiple applications using Wolfram Mathematica software package, use of graphics, communication with hardware, and image processing.

Qualifications

Must-haves

  • Hands-on experience with Wolfram Language and Mathematica
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline
  • Hands-on experience with at least one programming language, e.g., C++, Java, Matlab, and/ or Python
  • User interface design experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Pluses

  • Experience with data science
  • Experience in the Medical Device industry

Additional Information

  • Location: Palo Alto, CA. This is an onsite position. We will help with relocation if necessary.
  • This may be a contract-to-hire role.
  • Proof of full vaccination is required as a condition for employment.
