Mathematica startup error: Cannot open shared object file

Can anyone help me fix this error when trying to start Mathematica 10.3 on Red Hat Linux 7.9?

$ Mathematica /usr/local/Wolfram/Mathematica/10.3/SystemFiles/FrontEnd/Binaries/Linux-x86-64/Mathematica: error while loading shared libraries: libfontconfig.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Actually, doing yum install fontconfig fixed it. (Leaving this up instead of deleting the question in case anyone had this problem.)
