Is there a downloadable or in-browser coordinate grid I can use?

Posted 10 years ago

Hi, I am new to this website.

What I'm looking for is a Cartesian graph that

  • can place and name coordinate points
  • can change the maximum x and y values
  • can zoom in and out
  • can be downloaded as a file or shared as a link, containing all of the coordinate points I plotted, to friends

You can most certainly make this as a CDF document. CDF documents are programs that can be embedded in webpages or downloaded. They require that the user have downloaded and installed the CDF player/plug-in to run.

Something this specific isn't 100% built in though. It will require a small bit of programming to make. There are many different ways you could build it. Here's an example of a easy to use interface that allows for zooming: http://mathematica.stackexchange.com/questions/7142/how-to-manipulate-2d-plots
