I've been looking at GitLink[^1] on and off since it was announced many years ago. Today, I wanted to experiment with it again, to look at a lot of git repositories in a computational way, so to speak.
Alas, it's kind of hard, as the latest paclet release is from 2018 and it looks as if the open source is primarily an internal project now. This is in contrast with the info on the Paclet Repository[^1], which states that Wolfram Lang 13 is needed.
PacletInstall["Wolfram/GitLink"] gives me the 2018 version with only x86 libraries:
gitLink.dylib: Mach-O 64-bit dynamically linked shared library x86_64
gitLink_ssl100.dylib: Mach-O 64-bit dynamically linked shared library x86_64
I need a macOS build with support for Apple Silicon.
Am I doing something wrong?
I also cloned the GitHub project[^2], but it looks like the build and readme info are not quite up to date either.
So, has anyone built GitLink (on a modern macOS computer), and could that be shared or am I doing something wrong?
I'm using "13.2.1 for Mac OS X ARM (64-bit) (January 27, 2023)"
High regards, Per
