Left the Mathematica Notebook and kernels running overnight last night during the transition through Daylight Savings Time. The time functions appear to have stayed in pre-Daylight Savings Time (one hour behind). So, DateString[] and other functions gave an incorrect response. :^(
Exited and restarted Mathematica and the issue was resolved.
