[WEBINAR] Ecology and environmental science modeling in Wolfram Language

enter image description here

Computational modeling of complex systems is central to contemporary studies of the natural sciences. Such systems are everywhere around us, from flocking birds and forest fires to whole ecosystems and human societies. They shape our world and our experiences. How are these systems alike? What are the telltale signs of complexity? And how can we study these systems computationally?

We are excited to announce a special webinar, "Ecology and Environmental Science Modeling in Wolfram Language," which will be held on April 12, 2024. The webinar will offer a unique workshop experience for students and educators keen on exploring the intersection of natural systems and computational modeling. We will cover foundational aspects of complex systems with a focus on applications in ecology and environmental science, making these advanced concepts accessible and engaging through a blend of theoretical and computational explorations.

Hi Nicholas.

You can find a video recording of the webinar on Wolfram U at this link: https://www.wolfram.com/wolfram-u/courses/mathematics/ecology-and-environmental-science-modeling-in-wolfram-language/

This will remain available in the future.

Interesting webinar, is the presentation notebook available ?

Hi Martin,

It is. You can download a copy of the presentation materials from Wolfram U. See the link at the top of the following page: https://www.wolfram.com/wolfram-u/courses/mathematics/ecology-and-environmental-science-modeling-in-wolfram-language/.

Thank you for your webinar presentation today, @Phileas Dazeley-Gaist. Looking forward to the Ecological Research Colloquium on April 26 with guest speakers from academia, including @Jerome Goddard II, @Gareth Russell, @Zhijie Feng and others. See details and sign up here.
