does anyone know how to turn off the annoying hovering help box in Mathematica 10?
Great. Thanks for teaching me something new!
I found the solution here:

I am not sure what you mean.
But, go to the preferences and, under the Interface tab, you can turn off, or delay, the autocompletion if that is the behavior you are bothered by.
Hi David,
Thanks for the reply. Actually, it's not the autocompletion I was talking about. I just upgraded to Mathematica 10 and now when I move the cursor on some function in my code a small box pops out and when I click it, it searches that function in documentation. It's a bit annoying and it's not obvious how to turn that off (can't find it in preferences).
