A Wolfram U Daily Study Group exploring the modeling and simulation of electric vehicles begins on June 23.
Using Wolfram Language and Wolfram System Modeler (Modelica), we’ll explore the core components of EV dynamics—from drive cycles and battery health to thermal management and power electronics. Whether you’re transitioning from combustion engine systems or expanding your system modeling expertise, this series will help sharpen your system-level thinking and hands-on modeling skills.
We’ll cover topics such as:
- Modeling standard and custom drive cycles
- Analyzing battery performance and thermal behavior
- Simulating power electronics and DC motor control
- Exploring efficiency and control strategies
Whether you're new to EVs or looking to deepen your modeling capabilities, you're welcome to join. No prior experience with System Modeler or the Wolfram Language is required.
