Does Wolfram have any plan to support elliptic curve?

Posted 10 months ago

Hi all.
Wolfram Mathematica is arguably one of the best computer algebra systems out there, and elliptic curves are one of the most fascinating research topics in algebra. I don't quite understand why Mathematica still seems to lack any significant built-in functionality for number theory and cryptography, particularly elliptic curves. Can anyone offer an explanation?"

In my opinion, it would be nice if Wolfram Mathematica had built-in support for elliptic curves and the Wolfram Data Repository could serve the large collection of Cremona’s tables of elliptic curves.
