Modular Foundations for Adaptive Quantum Communication Simulations

This project establishes a set of foundational modules designed to support early-stage simulations in distributed and dynamic quantum communication systems. While the modules themselves were handcrafted, their accompanying examples and descriptive texts were generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence for temporary and rapid prototyping purposes. The simplified nature of these modules is intentional. By reducing structural and algorithmic complexity, they remain easily modifiable, enabling researchers, students, and developers to adapt them to domain-specific requirements, integrate additional quantum-network behaviors, or extend them toward more realistic physical, cryptographic, or networking models. This flexibility ensures that the framework can evolve alongside emerging research needs. The overall conceptual direction and design inspiration for this work derives from: Hernandez Barreto, A. D., Velasco Campos, M. F., & Morales Escobar, K. Y. (2025–2026). Dynamic Drone Mesh Networks for Scalable Quantum Key Distribution in Challenging Environments (Translated version). DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.17718867 These components will serve as a base for upcoming simulations, refinement cycles, and conceptual experiments involving distributed quantum communication in dynamic, mobile, and resource-variable environments.
