Mathematica 10.0.0 uses a different tick label position scheme than 9.0.1.

Posted 10 years ago

Mathematica 10 uses sparser tick labels than version 9.0.1. I am using Mathematica 10.0.0. How do I revert to the scheme used in version 9.0.1? For example, the following statement, LogLogPlot[(2.5*(T/300)^-.4), {T, 100, 3000}], produces different tick labels in version 9.0.1 compared to the same staement executed in 10.0.0.

My mistake ;-)
Because of the smallness of the ticks in the non-classic case I didn't see them and therefore thought more ticks were present in the Classic case because they then became more pronounced...

Stay tuned...

Thanks for the suggestion but it did not change anything.

LogLogPlot[(2.5*(T/300)^-.4), {T, 100, 3000}, PlotTheme -> "Classic"]
