Examples 7.7 and 7.8 share the same context and distribution, but one asks for the mean, and the other for the variance, essentially separating a two part question into two questions.

Fantastic work here. I took a fair amount of stats for my math degree, but alas remember very little --- and could certainly use a refresher for some of the things I do at work. Have asked for a prelease copy, and look forward to working through it.
