assume a round fence post is "H" high in meters. assume "G" meters is in the ground . The diameter is "D" meters. assume we pull the top of the post at 90 degrees to the post. The material surrounding the post will be dirt ( clay , sand , cement , ice , etc. ) is there a way to calculate deflection based on some table based modulus for the material surrounding the post ?
