Multivariate interpolation extends the topic discussed in the earlier instalment where we dealt with singular functional case. Interpolation applies equally to functions on multivariate domains. Whilst the principles remain the same, multi-dimensional case is more complex and requires extra care since the process has to simultaneous fit the data in n-dimension . We review offers several alternatives to tackle this problem and find smooth methods to be working equally well on the multivariate data sets.
