Would someone from Wolfram please provide literature citation(s) for the algorithm implemented in Mathematica's TotalVariationFilter function? I would like to have some understanding of what is happening behind the scenes inside this function. Actually, in general, it would be really great if references to the scientific literature were included in the Mathematica documentation.
