I'm a long-time Mathematica user, and was having a look around WolframCloud (I'm a bit interested in deploying apps to run on my iphone/ipad)
Can somebody please tell me a bit in detail about these two items present in the Free subscription plan? ( http://www.wolfram.com/programming-cloud/pricing/ )
30-day limit on deployments
Limits on how certain functions may be used
it's not clear what they exactly imply: if I write an app that I access from my phone, I have to "deploy" it again every month? and: limits - which limits???
thank you! alessandro
I'm not familiar with these restrictions specifically, but my understanding is:
30-day limit on deployments. This means when you deploy anything it will only stay deployed for 30 days. So, if you make an API or an online form. These will only stay up for 30 days.
Typically, trial versions don't allow you to export files. That might be a limitation in the free version. If you request a calculation that takes a very long time, it may be stopped. There are probably others, but the general idea is that the functions will work unless you're requesting a significant amount of computation or storage.
